See your non-DAC share before the oil company does

A home delivery is confirmed with the Delivery Authentication Code (DAC) the customer receives on their phone. Deliveries made without it are watched closely. DeskGas counts every non-DAC delivery by category and by delivery man, and shows the month's share against your limit every day.

Why it matters now

DAC is how the industry makes sure a cylinder reaches the consumer who booked it. On 17 April 2026 the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas reported that DAC-based deliveries had risen to around 93%, and that oil companies had imposed penalties on 255 distributorships and suspended 65 after surprise inspections.

Every non-DAC delivery has to be explained. If you only find out your share at month end, it is too late to do anything about it.

How the meter works

  • Non-DAC deliveries are entered in the daily close, with the recipient category from your exempted list
  • The month-to-date share is non-DAC deliveries divided by domestic cylinders delivered
  • Green while you are under 60% of your limit, amber up to 90%, red above it
  • Per delivery man and per category, so you know where to act

Set your own limit

DeskGas starts at 5% and you can change it to the figure your oil company has given you in Setup. The meter, the dashboard and the daily summary all follow it.

Questions distributors ask

What is DAC?

The Delivery Authentication Code is a one-time code sent to the consumer's registered mobile when a refill is booked. The delivery man asks for it at the door to confirm the cylinder reached the right person.

Does DeskGas connect to SDMS to read DAC?

No. Your office enters the non-DAC count in the daily close. DeskGas does not log in to any oil-company system.

Which categories can I use?

Your own list, for example institutions, senior citizens or OTP not received. Each delivery is counted under its category.
